About
Design week dublin who we are
The purpose of Dublin Design Week, created in 2025 by J&S Media, is to bring design closer to citizens of the city while celebrating the creative industry and showcasing Dublin’s talented design community – architects, interior designers and fashion designers – to the rest of the world.
Dublin Design Week is an opportunity to inspire and engage the local and global community, demonstrating how design, when applied consciously, can be a powerful tool to address current and future challenges, while enriching our lives.
Jane and Sarah have had many years of experience in publishing and events, having worked at Vogue, W, Image and Image Interiors, among other titles, before co-founding THE GLOSS Magazine and THE GLOSS Interiors two decades ago. They share a love of design and for bringing to life the work of talented, inspiring creators at engaging and entertaining events for design-curious guests.
In 2009, Jane and Sarah published The Irish at Home, a collection of design-oriented period and modern homes to reflect the breadth of architecture and interior talent in Ireland.
