sandra Andrea O’Connell

Dr Sandra Andrea O’Connell is RIAI Director of Architecture and Communications. She is responsible for strategic communications and public affairs, as well as the RIAI awards programmes and publications.

Sandra has a MSc in Urban Regeneration from TU Dublin and writes regularly on Irish architecture and urbanism for Architecture Ireland and The Gloss Interiors.

She edits house + design magazine and co-wrote and co-presented, with Angela Brady, the RTE TV series Designing Ireland, which showcased Ireland’s design and architecture culture.
