Design Stories with Helle Moyna 

Founded in 2008 by Helle Moyna, Nordic Elements, at 38 Main Street, Blackrock, Co Dublin, has grown into a much-loved design gallery, furniture showroom and interior design practice – Studio NE. 

Interiors writer Sarah Macken will join Helle at Nordic Elements to hear how her Danish upbringing has influenced her own personal design story – from where it all began to the unique business she has built today. 

When Helle founded Nordic Elements, it was with a specific ethos in mind: the importance of honest design, sustainability – if we buy well, we buy less – and the pleasure associated with investing in modern heirlooms. 

Design stories are central to the Nordic Elements ethos. From the integrity of original design, to the provenance of materials, and licensed manufacture, there is enduring craftsmanship in every piece. Helle sees the importance in sharing the narrative behind mid-century design classics as well as identifying and championing contemporary designers creating design classics of the future. 

Join Helle and Sarah in their discussion and learn how the Nordic Elements team can help you create your own design story, whether you are sourcing the finishing touches for a particular space in your home or thinking about a larger scale project encompassing all aspects of an interior design brief.
