For more than three decades, Studio Sofield in New York City has brought unalloyed excitement to the practice of design and architecture, creating spaces with artistry, exceptional elegance and wit and a meticulous eye for detail. The Studio’s projects range from homes, retail experiences and hospitality to multi-storey apartment towers. Studio Sofield’s fashion clients include Tom Ford, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Yves Saint Laurent, and Tom Ford has engaged Studio Sofield to design each of his stores and all of his homes.
Emma O’Neill received her Bachelor of Architecture from University College Dublin. She apprenticed with William Sofield while he consulted for Ralph Lauren in the 1980s and continued that collaboration via Aero Studios in the 1990s, after which she joined William Sofield to open Studio Sofield.
