Diarmuid Gavin,award-winning Irish garden designer, is Ireland’s best-known garden personality, famous for his avant-garde, structural, and often controversial approach to outdoor spaces, and his championing of nature. As a Gold Medal winner at Chelsea more than a decade ago, he cemented his reputation as the “maverick” of contemporary landscape architecture. His core design philosophy combines embracing the strange and structural, prioritising emotional connection and ditching the tyranny of strict formality.
