Julia Loughnane joined David Chipperfield Architects in 2012 and has served as a director of the London studio since 2021. Julia has had a leading role on a wide range of significant projects, including 30 Grosvenor Square in London and the Dunard Centre Concert Hall in Edinburgh. Currently, she oversees the development of Muzej Lah, a new art museum in Slovenia, as well as the restoration and conversion of the historic Jenners building in Edinburgh. 

Ronan Dunphy is an Associate at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW). A graduate of WIT Architecture, he first worked at the studio as an intern in 2011 and has since contributed to a wide range of international projects across the USA, Turkey, Spain, Italy, and China. Over more than twelve years at RPBW, Ronan has developed particular expertise in museum design, as well as cultural, educational, residential, and mixed-use architecture. 

John McElgunn is a Senior Director at RSHP. He has extensive experience as a project architect working on public buildings and responding to highly complex briefs, including the Grand Union Building, Paddington; One Hyde Park in London’s Knightsbridge; NEO Bankside, a residential development adjacent to the Tate Modern; and The British Museum WCEC. John also led the design for a conservation and storage facility for the Musée du Louvre in Liévin in northern France, and is currently working on the extension to the British Library.
