This year, Minima celebrates its 30th anniversary, marking three decades since founder Helen Kilmartin first introduced her vision for contemporary living to the Irish market.

What began in 1996 with a showroom on St Stephen’s Green has evolved into the nation’s premier destination for international design excellence and a vital collaborator with Ireland’s interior designers and architects.

Minima Home operates two premier contemporary design showrooms in Dublin. The original flagship, Minima Hanover Quay, is situated at The Waterfront in the Grand Canal Docklands. Functioning as an evolving inspiration hub for interior designers and architects, this extensive space features a diverse contemporary portfolio, representing major labels like Cassina, Rimadesio, Vitra, Edra, and Knoll.

Minima Ballsbridge at Number One Ballsbridge in Dublin 4 opened in September 2023, a dedicated, immersive environment showcasing exclusive brands like B&B Italia, Maxalto, Glas Italia, Lualdi doors, and Listone Giordano flooring.

At the heart of Minima’s success is its team of expert designers, who act as essential technical partners to architects and designers and private clients alike across the two showrooms.

Both venues open Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM, and on Saturdays from 10AM to 5PM. While Ballsbridge welcomes walk-ins, weekday visits to Hanover Quay require an appointment.
