WINE & DESIGN DINNER
AT FORBES STREET BY GARETH MULLINS AT ANANTARA THE MARKER DUBLIN
Architect Frank Lloyd Wright once said: ‘Dining is and always was a great artistic opportunity’. Dining is a creative undertaking, which makes chefs and sommeliers the designers, telling a story through the food and wine they serve. It makes sense then, that wine dinners and pairings put stories at the heart of the experience. As part of the Design Week Dublin programme, a unique gastronomic evening at Forbes Street at The Marker on Wednesday May 21 will feature a perfectly matched seasonal menu of food and wine highlighting six wines. Champagne and canapes (in the fabulous Rooftop Bar) at 7.30pm will be followed at 8pm by a five-course dinner with wines. Gareth Mullins, Executive Chef at The Marker Dublin, and Wine Editor of THE GLOSS, Julie Dupouy, will collaborate to design a wine-paired seasonal menu to highlight the wines from the distinguished Findlaters portfolio, striking a balance between food flavours and allowing the wine to shine.
